Transitions
Now I have some more clips I will be looking at the transitions for these clips. The first transition is based on the clip between gold molten clip and the character jumping clip. For this I choose to use the Cross Dissolve. I choose cross dissolve was because I felt that I did not want the clip to fade too much like the Film Dissolve does. I wanted the clip to fade slightly and then move onto the next clip. I thought would be gentle especially for the next clip is quite dark and the brightness of the gold and then fading into the dark would really unbalance the transition. This is a reason why I changed the transition so that it goes more onto the gold molten clip than the character jumping clip. This will then allow the character jumping more time and also not taking away the darkness of that clip.

The transition is between the character jumping and the shield slam clips. The transition which I have chosen for these clips was
Dither Dissolve. I choose this transition because it was different from the ones which I have used quite frequently such as
Film Dissolve and Dip to Black. Also, as I have mentioned before in a previous post about transitions, I am not very keen on any of the other transitions which were available, except those within the dissolve folder. So, I decided to try dither dissolve, and I found that it really worked for these clips. I am not very sure why I think it works but it does. I changed the transition so that it covers more of the character jumping clip than the shield slam clip. One reason was because most of the previous transition was in the previous clip. Reason two was that the transition looked a lot better with more in the character jumping clip than the shield slam clip, because the main part of the shield slam clips happens within the first half of the clip.

The final transition is for this post is based on the transition between the shield slam clip and the birds clip with the witch clip on top. For this I choose the transition
Dip to Black. I choose the dip to black because I tried the
Additive Dissolve like I did before with the previous clip which also had two clips on top of the one another and this worked really well. When I tried it for this one, it did not work as well. I am not sure why it didn't, I also tried others like the
Dither Dissolve but they also did not look right with the two clips. So, that was when I tried the dip to black which worked really well with the clips because it then dips and brings up the effects both at the same time. I did not make this transition very big or long because I did not want the duration of the transition to long because of this two clips on top another, but I did want it so that you can still see the transition happen.
