New Audio
Now I have some more clips I watched the trailer back. At this point I felt that I needed to find new audio for the second half of the trailer. This is because the more and more I stretch the music the more the original soundtrack/vocals come into play with the clips, which is not what I want for the trailer. Also, at the birds clip I am not sure what I want to do after the birds clip. So I thought getting this new audio would inspire me and give me ideas on the sort of clips which would be used for the rest of the trailer.
So, I decided to look for some new audio. I want my new audio to be a classical piece of music, this is because I do not want any talking within the second half of the trailer, this is because I have a monologue already within the first half of the trailer. Also, I have decided that not matter what the clip is I will be removing the original audio from it. This is because I kind of want the music to sort of tell a story, but I also want it to be sad, as the action trailers will most likely be based about battles. This is due to the fact that battles are not happy and are not pleasant because people die and you are having to kill these people.
I was recommended a website, by the teacher for a website full of music which is creative commons sort of website as you are free to download the music as you want, however, I am not sure if there is a license which comes with the website. So, I went to the website and found that you are able to select different genres and different types of music. So I selected dark and classical, as mentioned above I wanted classical, but I also selected dark because I felt that dark would suit the situation of the second half of the trailer as I said battles, would fit with the dark theme.
I listened to a few and found one which really caught my attention and I found was really nice piece of classical music. I felt that this would fit with my trailer well. The music was classical, but it had that sad feeling to the music, especially with the violins playing at certain notes such as going high then lower. This was what wanted and I feel when I add more fight clips to the trailer it will give the music a reason for it to be there. So, I downloaded the audio and imported it to my project tab and created a new bin and called it 'Music' and placed it in there.
I then dragged the audio to the timeline at the end of the monologue. I then found that the audio went over the 1 minute mark. So, I then selected the Razor Tool and then set the tool at exactly one minute and clicked and the audio was cut into two. The audio after one minute was then deleted. I then had to add some transitions. The transition between the monologue and the new audio I still used Constructive Power as mentioned in a previous post about the audio was that I used this transition was because it was very consistent and made the audio look like it is playing on top of the ending part of the monologue to make it consistent. I also, used this transition at the end of the audio. This is because when I played it back I found that the audio got to quite a high part of the music; so I used this transition to help quieten and fade the audio so that it was not as loud but also because the trailer was ending it needed to fade out.

The new Audio added to the timeline |
Witch Clip
Now the new audio was added it gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration for the next load of clips. For instance, the witch clip which I already had on my timeline. I decided to do the same as the gold and shard clip and have this clip on top of the bird clip. I thought this would look really effective like it did with the gold and shard clip. I thought this could be the idea of how the witch awakens. So, the birds would be a certain form of her and the witch awakens. I thought this would look good on top of one another almost like it is happening at the same time even thought that it would happen at different times if the film was made.
So, to create this effect I moved the witch clip into the video two section which then mean that the witch clip would then play on top of the bird clip. However, I was not able to see the bird clip being played as well, meaning that I had to change the opacity of the witch clip. I only did it for the witch clip because effectively the witch clip was quite bright as a clip, mainly due to the bright white. For this reason I changed the opacity to 20%, meaning that I can see the bird clip, but also the witch clip to the point you can still see the brightness of the white.
